Henry declares for NBA Draft

Good for him, hopefully, he gets sound advice that can help develop his game further, he has potential.

Supposedly one of the things his mind was on this year was his draft stock

He’s raw but so we’re a lot of guys with athleticism. He can make it. Doesn’t seem to me he’s quite ready but what do I know.

Luckily they changed the rules...

My only thought really is, he was playing some damn good ball towards the end of the season. He could have built his brand and came in with some good preseason hype for 2020.

I think he gets a second NBA contract, that's always the goal and I think he does, just a prediction.

Eric Snow says hello. This kid is gonna have a lengthy multi contract career.

Not sure I get the comparison but I agree on second contract.

Eric Snow could defend like a mofo. Pretty good point guard with below average outside shot. Henry can defend multiple positions. Not a point guard but average outside shot. Both are gonna have a good careers where defense gets them multiple contracts.

I also think he's just starting to click, I am glad he can develop and make money but I honestly think he would have been an all-American next year at the rate his game has been developing.

I'm not disagreeing with the fact that he gets a few contracts.. but trying to play the Eric Snow card in 2021 when snow played 95-08 and we all know how much basketball/NBA has changed is... to put it nicely, interesting/erroneous

I will allow the defensive comparison, though obviously different types of defenders. Henry is already a better shooter than Snow ever was, and Henry's form is superior and it's a good bet his shot will continue to improve.

Both played at MSU, both were all B1G defense first teamers, both have average outside game, both rebound well from the guard spot. Whatever. Not getting into a Nigel type circular discussion here. Thought the comparison was relevant regardless of NBA era.

Hey old guys, remember just how awful Eric Snow was at shooting free throws his first couple of years? For those too young to remember, it was so bad that it became a running joke. But he worked his ass off and got a lot better overall, including his FT. Great story of a guy who wouldn’t give up.
