It feels dirty talking about Nolan without DR here.

What’s up with the pal & chief verbiage? It’s like I’m in a rural gas station buying snacks.

I mean, your response was pretty patronizing. "Need me to explain it to you, dummy?"Other Teams Pursuing That wrote:Death Roe wrote:"I hated it, why don't you hate it?"

Re: Tenet - Christopher Nolan
I didn’t really find it all that confusing. I’m willing to go along for the ride on a time adventure, I just thought it was poorly written, and executed. It seemed like there just weren’t enough people in the writers or editors room to tell Nolan the truth. Or they were afraid or something. It’s what happens when one guy transcends the process of movie making and becomes more important than the end product. See M Knight Shamalan

No. It starts out really good, plateaus, then hits a wall at some point and leaves you asking yourself "how is this movie not over?" It's entertaining, but incredibly sterile and devoid of any attempt to make emotional connections. Don't worry about the science stuff because even the scientist who tries to explain the science to the lead says "Don't try to understand it. Feel it." If the lead is off the hook so are you.

So.... what do I need to watch first?

Great book. Dwags you do not. I’d suggest locking in to the movie as it can be a lot to follow

BREAKING:
Nolan expected to sever 18-year relationship with WB over its strategy in releasing Tenet.
Maybe working with a new studio will be just what Nolan needs to create a truly unusual movie; something that will leave audiences scratching their heads and thinking, WTF did I just watch?

Exactly. At the risk of upsetting DR, it sure seems like Nolan is being a pissy little bitch. Apparently, WB was supposed to ignore the pandemic and conduct business as if this sort of thing happens all the time.

Guess he's not gonna work with Tom Cruise any time soon.
