The joy of working from home is working in sweats or boxers. Do not groom and put the tape over the computer camera for video calls.

That was probably me. Sorry. I was rubbing my tired, achy, super smelly feet and forgot to wash my hands. Transferred to my fingies, which then got picked up by the notebook microphone and through your lapper all around your room. Oops.

I can get away with 75% of my calls not on video. But on the smaller ones, I'm forced to at least brush my hair.

Have work laptop, work monitor, home laptop, and TV all on all day on my desk.

Don't go out often. WebEx's are cameraless. T-shirt, sweats, and slippers are my general daily attire. Have no issue going 5-6 days without showering.

On Amazon, and probably elsewhere, they sell these little plastic camera covers that you can slide back and forth to cover or open the camera. Easy to slide it open/closed, rather than using tape that loses it stickiness. Not just for the zoom type meetings, but in general it doesn't hurt to leave them covered if you're not using it, especially if it is a work computer (and even if a personal computer, hackers could access it).

KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switchers have been around at least 20 years.  

Not familiar with this model but gives you the idea.  Didn't investigate but there's likely some keyboard combo that switches you from one computer to the other without having to push the button on top of the unit.
