Also, this came out the other day featuring Jimmy Page and it got me thinking about the eras.

I listen to Some Girls and Tattoo You more than Exile and I really like all three of those albums.

Beatles are fine....

I suppose early Stones was worthwhile. Somewhere in the early 70's they hit a peak. This is me talking from a 1980's perspective because I haven't bothered with them since. That said, I suppose the earliest was the best....(I had no idea I had a favorite Stones era.)

I came here to read the Stones ranking of the eras. Keith wouldn’t remember anything so he’d’ve just made it up. Still leaving disappointed.

Exile is a great album but I question why I end up listening to Sticky Fingers, Some Girls and Tattoo You more. The drum groove at the start of 'Slave'. Fuckin a that is nasty stuff.

Dont' much care. When he's sitting on my deck, drinking my beer, when he's at my tailgate, drinking my beer, he's listening to my music. I try to culture these damn kids. Some, of course , will never be as refined as I. I mean, I can go a whole tailgate and maybe scratch my balls only twice in front of people.

I’m pretty much hand in the pants at all public events. It’s an easy and convenient way to spread my musk and mark the women with whom I wish to mate.

Sticky Fingers I can see, Mick was playing on that one, Stones were hitting their peak.
I don't mind Some Girls or Tattoo you, but wouldn't rank them anywhere near the top of Stones albums.
Not to knock Brian, he died too soon, or Ronnie, he's great, but the Mick era of the Stones was their glory years for me.

Yeah, it's phenomenal shit. Get Your Ya Ya's Out is probably my favorite live album behind Hendrix's Band of Gypsys record. I love every track on that album. I love Dead Flowers and Moonlight Mile on Sticky Fingers is one of my favorite deep cuts of that era. Been on a huge Rolling Stones kick.

That album is all killer and no filler. I'm surprised every song wasn't a radio hit. Sway? Get out of town that song is unreal.

I'll go with Mick Taylor #1.  Exile.  All Down the Line is my favorite.  What a great blend with horns. piano, and backing vocals mixed in. Like a huge party in a song.
