Bubble all of the teams, coaches, players, team personnel etc on a single college campus. Hell bring faculty too so they don't have to do distance learning!

14 teams, every Friday and Saturday you hold 7 games. 3 on Friday and 4 on Saturday. Boom. Done.

But make sure they keep their grades up.

I'm sure they could opt out. And they'd get food, a place to stay, etc. Online learning. But yeah, there are still big issues.

The bubble idea is working, but those are all just a couple of months max.

Reportedly MLB owners are having an emergency meeting this afternoon (now) and who knows where this goes.

Personally I don't see the 100% player cooperation for behavior lasting. If a few go to "clubs", restaurants etc and get infected its shutdown time.

MLB has been quiet on testing the other 30 players on each roster besides the active rosters. Hard to control a group of 20-30 year old men for even a shortened basball season unless you lock them down and run minor league facility like a military base.

Exactly NBA and NHL will come back okay to finish this season but what about next season. 82 game bubble doesn't seem feasible

As to team sizes, agreed that's a major hurdle. But if you reduce staff to bare essentials and/or possibly share some staff, you could possibly have 4-8 teams in a single bubble.

I got out of my woke hipster bubble and drove through rural areas of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine and this country is just not going to do what is necessary to defeat this. I’ve gone into stores where all workers/staff have no masks on. It’s weird. The only way out of this is to have a coordinated strategy and testing. You test, isolate the positives and the virus vanished quickly. So simple but so hard and that’s why we won’t see sports again.

Spent weeks in Vermont earlier this year. Have family in Burlington. Once you get 25 miles out of Burlington, Rutland or college towns like Middlebury you’ll see MAGA and Trump 2020 flags. Most often in the poorest villages in the state.

Beginning this Monday Vt Gov Scott ordered face masks like Whitmer did last week.
