I'm not much of a Yankees fan but pulling for them tonight over the Astros. Hoping for an epic game.

If his next contract is anything close to Kinsler's 6 year $70M deal Houston's payroll will be climbing.

It only adds 4 days.

They'll never shorten season. So either play more doubleheaders or make the LCS 5 games again.

Also they should move away from predetermined dates. Just start the next series as soon as you can just like they used to do.

This year WS starts Tuesday Oct 27 even though if both LCS sweep last game is Wednesday Oct 21.

I was rooting for them just because I thought it would be good for NYC, but I did a flip flop through the game. I've definitely liked some Yankees teams over the years, and there's been situations where I've pulled for them. This team is hard to like with A Rod at the heart of the team.

I wouldn't consider myself a hater so that was my mistake, but I wouldn't consider myself a fan either. I definitely like the Mets more than the Yankees.
