Record Store Day 9/26/20

Any good stores in West Michigan or near Lansing? Last year I found out too late but the Doors website had some for sale.
Fun day and although I don't listen to the vinyl I still collect anything the Doors put out.

Haven’t been in FBC in decades. No idea what they have anymore.

Go to FBC on Grand River...one of the best record stores and EL is lucky to have it. A great place to support.

All I remember is some Harmony House locations in the metro Detroit area and Wherehouse Records in EL.
Nice to see you back, Mojo! Perhaps your talents can take this overly tight group of far-leftists off posting politics 24/7/365 for the last 5 years.

Please keep your politics out of the record store day thread. Tia.

The 8/20 RSD drop was a little better for me. I haven’t seen as much for the 9/26 drop that will get me to the store. I picked up the live Brittany Howard and Charlatans vs. Chemical Brothers in August. Still have to check on the October releases.

Don't blame me. Heat opened the door for rampant politics all over this board.steveschneider wrote:The Pantry wrote:All I remember is some Harmony House locations in the metro Detroit area and Wherehouse Records in EL.

Re: Record Store Day 9/26/20
best record store in west Michigan is Vertigo in GR.
FBC is solid and EL is fortunate to have it. Jon and Dave are nice enough guys - they can be a little grouchy, but that's part of the charm, I think.
of the Michigan record stores I'm familiar with, I dig Vertigo in GR (as stated) and UHF in Royal Oak is nice, as well.

Everytime I'm back in EL I drop a $100 or so at FBC. Amazing record bins.

yep - the dollar bin is very quality. Not only can you get some good records there but even if you're just interested in vintage cover art, you can spend 2-3 bucks and get some great art that represents the analog generation.steveschneider wrote:Robert J Sakimano wrote:
