What's Your Favorite Zoom Background?

Yeah, it stops being a crowd pleaser when that happens. I guess you have to have the right lighting. In real life I think they are dumb but at the start of a zoom call when it’s awkward and everyone is doing the small talk I think a good zoom background can help ease the tension.

Same here. One of our execs requires it now so on internal meetings I have to do it. The other day I saw I had a 10 AM meeting where I'd have to appear on zoom so I showered and shaved. Usually I get right out of bed and work in sweatpants for most of the morning. I definitely don't maintain my appearance which is part of the joy of working from home.

Dendrobates wrote:And I don’t have a blank/clear enough wall space (no office in this house) so any zoom backgrounds don’t work well. My basement is this half wall/half wood paneling which messes with it. Couches are too high up and interfere. Picture on the walls, etc. I don’t care enough to put some blank sheet or whatever to make it work. I will probably make some area clear in our new house in my office to change stuff up for the hell of it.
