Should I apologize?

Most people are shocked that I was ever a bad child. Even if I go to my brothers friends weddings and all of a sudden my brothers high school friend starts rubbing my head and telling everyone at my table, “this was literally the worst kid and most misbehaved kid I had ever met”. And then he reminds me of a story I had completely forgotten about myself.

When I was in the 6th grade I bullied a kid mercilessly.

I told him that he should commit suicide. I slammed his head into a bus window one time because he was looking at me. I beat him up with a lacrosse stick in front of a whole group of people. And probably a lot of other things I have forgotten.

Karma reared it’s ugly head to me not long after. I remember in my teenage years and early 20’s crying when I was drunk in front of friends and having group counseling sessions because I felt like I was cursed for my past sins and I always wanted to apologize to that kid.

But I never did.

Now many years have passed and I’ve brought it up to family and they think it would be weird for me to reach out and that I should not do it.

But I want to. I want to...

Do you guys think I should reach out?

I want to apologize to some of the people I hurt in my past. He’s probably the one from my childhood who I definitely hurt. But there’s only maybe one or two from my adult years that may have hurt and I don’t feel like I hurt them too bad. But nonetheless it would take some weight off my shoulders for sure

I think you should give him $1000 and a blow job. Whether or not you say "I'm sorry" is up to you.
