I think it was the House and Senate Dems who thought that when they proposed a $3.5 trillion BBB bill. One member of the Senate wanted it over $5 trillion.

Another minor event. I find that to be very funny. I thought engineers weren't supposed to understand humor. But if you want to go the 'death by a thousand cuts  route, how about Biden inviting Putin to engage in a minor incursion into the Ukraine. I'm sure that Afgan's family and the Ukrainians don't consider those issues minor.

For the record I don't hate Joe. I do however disagree with his leftwing politics and I think he is in over his head. Is it due to dementia? I leave it to the experts to decide that.

Poor choice of words on Joe's part, to be sure ....

Emily Horne, the spokesperson for the National Security Council, tweeted soon after Biden's speech that the president was in fact distinguishing between military and non-military responses, and was not letting Russia off the hook.

During his speech, Biden said that if Russia didn't launch a military invasion of Ukraine, but carried out a cyberattack, the US and its allies could respond with a similar cyberattack.

So far you are two for two on bringing up pretty much meaningless points.

edit - so far, the Progressive actions that Biben et al have taken have produced good results for the economy and workers, so there is that going for them.  The Inflation numbers, caused because of the demand for goods has jumped so much, (while the demand for services have fallen) along with the power of the virtual monopolies which control the prices in the markets due to 40 years of right-wing craziness on enforcing anti-trust laws, is annoying, but it was mainly a onetime price jump in the spring, which should be shown going forward into about June.
