Has anyone tried Cafe Bustelo? Very inexpensive, espresso-like grind.. but quite tasty. I get it at Meijer so I'm guessing it's at all the big box stores.

I’d been rotating whole bean Sumatran, Italian, and Espresso throughout the pandemic, but then some counterfeit Starbucks made its way from China and I got a couple pounds of terrible beans. Switched to all Espresso all the time because I never had a problem with that from Amazon. Been drinking that exclusively for several months.

I keep a can of it on hand in a pinch if I’m out of the other stuff. Makes me wish I could try some real Cuban coffee, because this inexpensive Cuban-style coffee is pretty good.

I make mine cup by cup with a pour-over or AeroPress. There’s no excuse for bad coffee.

Whole pots aren't bad even if you only drink one cup. I like iced coffee better than hot. With the Chemex, I let it cool then pour into a carafe and put in the fridge for later use.

But I also drink folgers on a normal day, miller lite when goofing on a Saturday in the back yard... Crappy repetitive dinners most nights.
