When's the last time you tipped an attorney?
When's the last time a mover charged you $250 an hour?

For 2 movers & the truck, that's not a bad deal IMHO. Under $2k to move a 3 bedroom house? Sounds reasonable to me. I'd pay that to not have to deal with the headache.

Re: How much to tip movers?
Ok final tally:
These movers were great. They were moving the entire time, no breaks (expect 30 min lunch). All hard work. From a 3 bedroom house (with finished basement), to a 10x15 storage unit, and a new house about 8.5 hours...
Cost me $2340
I paid them a $70 tip/ person (4guys)
Not from an obligation that they are paid low. The owner was there with the 4 guys. And both 26 ft trucks were packed to the max. It was because they hauled ass, no breaks, hard work, and were careful in their move.
I just appreciate the hard effort. I don't envy this work. They worked harder than I ever have. And the owner was one of the movers. He also helped looked/call other clients for different days after my builder fucked me over.
Patriot moving was worth. I highly recommend.

I think you're in the right ballpark. I'd do $50 if it's half a day and $100 if it's a full day. Here's an article I found from a moving company I used that talks about it: https://threemenandatruck.net/am-i-supposed-to-tip-movers/ I'm sure most movers would be happy with a $50 - $100 tip for a days work though, it seems pretty generous to me.

Hello and welcome to the Swill! I’m curious how you pronounce your username. Is it Sparty pee or Spar teepee?
Thanks in advance.

Not bloody likely. Moose has tipping all figured out. Besides, our newest Swiller was far more generous than Moose would ever be.
