Greatness takes everything you've got, sometimes more than you even think you can give. Izzo could have never built what he's built in Lansing by taking time out to play golf. Juwan Howard was fighting for recruits as Izzo was looking for lost balls in the next fairway. Matter of fact, Howard told some other coach he just might kill the motherfucker if he didn't get off of his cruit.

Izzo, he was drunk enough to use his 6 iron from 115 yards out thinking it was his 9.

Not that I think it would happen, but Tom Izzo is exactly the type of coach Kofi needs before heading to the pros. He’s got big talent, but he’s kind of soft. He came apart when going against an Izzo defense last season. One year wouldn’t do it completely, but it would help him immensely.
