Your worst hangover?

Let's hear them. I want to hear some miserable stories.

My worst was after my 21st. Puked 7 times the next day and wasn't fully recovered until 48 hours later. Could barely stand and couldn't swallow food. I thought I was gone for sure.

friday night before the saturday act. we had a party and i slammed a fifth of wild turkey playing quarters with my buddy. then smoked some lime green weed that came from one of our buddies older fucked up brother. i started seeing the music come out of the speaker and was watching the pink panther cartoons on the walls. i drove home by brail bumping the curbs and pure muscle memory. miraculously made it home and puked all night long. made it to the test on time. during the english portion i had to be excused so i could puke again. i aced that part of the test.

Mine was the morning after my 21st birthday too. (I actually had two parties for my 21st: one the night I turned 21 at midnight, and then I drank A LOT the next day while I was 21 the entire day.)

The second day's festivities destroyed me. I was ripping shots of Prairie Fire, Three Wise Men, Four Horsemen, Starry Night, chugging beers, Jager, Tequila, yada yada. It was a shit show. I woke up practically spooning my cousin in my other cousin's house, it was 5 A.M. and I called my dad and said I needed to go home ASAP. I went home and shook the whole drive, the dry heaves were unbearable. I tried to eat and threw up. Then I started throwing up bile and lived in the bathroom for a couple hours, just puking hard. I was in bed all day, sleeping and puking.

My parents thought it was hilarious. My dad did, at least.

Right now. Wife's surprise 50th in Saugatuck last night. The Butler then Wicks then Walley' then Phil's then the sandbar.

Pounding right now. Ouch.

I've probably had worse hangovers, but nothing has ever had the lasting impact of that hangover + the depression + the monsoon.

Couple winters ago, went up to msu to dorm drink with a few friends, ended up getting about 20 people to come over, drank a fifth of canadian club and a half dozen pbrs, had a splitting head ache for two days straight.

Me and the wifepiece (from the Khanh Hoa Province) did tButler -> tMermaid -> Wally's on friday. Didn't make it to Phil's, she was too horndogged up. felt surprisingly pretty good on Saturday morning though actually.

to answer the OP's question, there's too many to list. One of the top 5 though was after throwing a huge bash at a shared house I lived in w/some friends. this was 2001, post-college and the mind was younger than the body was.it was the weekend after labor day, our house was on a lake, and we f'n blew it out friday and saturday. just ridiculous debauchery. anyway the hangover on sunday was...who knows? I didn't even wake up until sunday evening just in time to go to bed. Monday was hell at work, crawled home, straight to bed and the hangover rolled right into tuesday morning...which was of course was Sept. 11th. Talk about just feeling weird. the hangover depression was ampped by 1000% when realizing what was actually going down in NYC that morning.

The older you get the worst they get. Even just a normal night out with friends to tie one on, and the next day is brutal. If you are under 35 let me tell you right now the worst hangover of your life is coming.

Pussy. I woke up once with a pickled liver from my first visit to Canada at 19.

Had to call the ambulance on myself while driving back to Pittsburgh BC I was blacking out while driving. Told dehydration met hypoglycemia

Mine is basically this same story. Except replace "21st birthday" with "day after Boise State game" and minus the cousin thing.

Wife's sister's wedding... Can remember I had to "sleep" sitting up. Was still drunk 2pm the next day. Was paranoid driving home. Hangover pain really didn't kick in until day 2 post wedding.

When I was younger I used to be able to stay up late drunk, wake up the next day have a good breakfast and be right back on my feet.

Now it's like I'm on my death bed. Also, are there any cures you guys would recommend? I read an article that said the best thing you can do really is just drink fluids and wait it out.

Same deal here w/me.  I'm not out every weekend gettin' matterhorned to the bejesus-belt like back in the day, but on the occasion I do wake up a bit under the weather I go with:

- shower (so your skin can breathe)
- advil (this shit just works. period.)
- nasal rinse (I just added this one recently. works wonders to clear out your sinuses, get ya back in the game)

not 100% sold on efficacy of this one yet, but:

- pedialyte (buddy and I slammed a bunch of this on the morning of the first B1G Champ game down in Indy. I guess it helped, but we were still pretty tore up from the night before even after taking it. who knows. hopefully I won't need to test it out again.)

Cures that work for me.
Shower and brush teeth after chugging a ton of water and taking some ibruprofen or Advil
Banana and if I am up for it a big breakfast
Sleep it off. Just keep sleeping.
Make yourself puke. Get the evil out!

Weed, greasy food, Sprite, Gatorade, pizza, Xanax, 800 mg Ibuprofen, a good poop, a shower

Sleeping is a tall order, after the initial pass out all the alcohol converts to sugar and gets me wired. I'm typically wide awake but feeling like hell.

Yeah sleeping is always the best bet as your body is just going to start working like a beast on it. Sweat it out during a long nap.

I've also found that weed and/or some greasy ass food helps. Weed just for the nausea and headache if nothing else. If I can muster it, I try and get a few mile run in too and a nice shower after.

My buddy came over and we watched the "Reliant Robin" Episode of Top Gear. We were drinking casually until we decided to take a shot of Fleischmanns Whisky every time he flipped the car. The next day I went out to Kensington to spend the day with my girlfriend. She wanted to go for a bike ride, but the best I could manage was laying on the grass throwing up for about 4 hours. She was incredibly pissed.

The receipe to cure a hangover is to not over drink. I know that sounds like hell.

My worst (really dorky, heads up): I was in a band-related performance group after college and one night after a competition, one of the younger members of the group invited us to his house. His parents are very rich and left him with $200 for food, but he spent it all on cheap booze. That's when I learned beer + jaeger bombs + hot tub sounds like fun, but only at first. Passed out at some point, puked, slept, thought I was going to puke again but didn't, sort of slept until we had to go back to rehearsal the next day. It's not like it was super strenuous but it certainly sucked. Tried to calm my stomach with Vernors at lunch but no such luck.

Last weekend I went to the casino. I took out $800. I played blackjack until 2 or 3 am. Ultimately lost it all. I couldn't find my car. I walked all over the casino and 2 parking garage looking for it. Around 5:30 is, I walked onto the top floor. There is some chick naked from the top down. She had 1.5 legs. I have no idea why she's naked. My feet are all cut up and my arm is bleeding from some scrape. At 6am I'm texting my wife that I can't find the car and I'm ubering home. Yesterday I got an email that I can get 2 nights comped at the hotel. I'll be there next Wednesday and Thursday.
