Hey Nigel
Hope you had a good weekend bud.
What's your prediction for this years MSU football team? Also, what did you think of the Illinois vs Nebraska football game this weekend?

Re: Hey Nigel
Thanks for the questions, steve.
I'm thinking 6-6. A little hesitant to get too excited. Love the recruiting and portal management so far, but gotta play the games.
Missed the Illinois/Nebraska game. Was busy doing some other stuff. Not a great game for the Nebraska coach obviously. Illinois fans are probably pleased.

Re: Hey Nigel
I really hope we take down Northwestern this weekend. That's always a tough game for us and could really set the tone for the season. Anxious to see how our OL and new QB perform. Collins is another player to watch.
Seeing some of our players on twitter they look like they got in great shape in the off season. Possible we see it pay off on a few players.

It's a big game. No doubt. Wonder if both QBs will play.

Got any insight on how Northwestern is supposed to be this year?
Also, what’s your take on the Mets booing the fans

I think Northwestern lost some players, so maybe they won't be as good as last year...but, we beat them last year anyway.
(Some) Mets booing the fans seems a little short-sighted.

New York fans can be huge assholes but can't go around booing the people that pay your contract. If I'm the owner I tell the team to knock that shit off.

In a little more than a month, the Mets have gone from 4 up to 7 down. That's some terrible baseball.

Same old Mets.
Very fired up for the game this week. Feels like a great week for some college football and feeling some good vibes. I think we are going to win!

Hello Nigel. I totaled up your pick for week 1. You got 7 right!
Nice work! I think you are tied with me and Dwags for first.

I did not and I think that really helped.
BTW, I think if we add in your scores from the Mio Nip Sip to the totals then you are technically in the lead? I'd be in second with 7.25.

That's a lot of math. I think DWags and Jake stood out last week.

Oh yeah that's right. Dwags would be in first if we merged them both. He crushed it in the Mio Nip & Sip Pickem and he crushed it in Death Roe's pick em. Tip of the hat to Dwags!

That reminds me. Gotta get the NFL odds up. Thanks.
So, maybe Baltimore @ Miami. UNC plays Pitt, I think. Pitt QB is supposed to be good. Might catch a little of that game. What are you watching?

Probably going to watch Baltimore @ Miami. I'll probably even lay $200 on Baltimore.
Been watching the Clint Eastwood Dollars Trilogy as well. If the game is a dud probably work towards finishing that up on HBO Max.

Nardog could win the ACC. Would be fun to play Pitt in a NY6 game like the Peach Bowl.

Fired up for the big game today. I think we win but it’s going to be tight IMO. I think injuries are piling up. Hope KW lights it up and gets that Heisman.

Would be great if he had 200+ yards and 4 TDs (in a big win).
Heisman race is looking for a leader. And it appears to be him right now. Need the Ole Miss QB to have some average games (and for them to lose some more). No real obvious home run candidates from Bama, Georgia, OSU.

scUM is pushing some guy for the Heisman. I didn't read the article so I have no idea what his qualifications are. I will assume he's already the winner of the September Heisman.

Hutchinson? If he scores 3 TDs against OSU, he has a chance.
