Northwestern to redevelop football stadium after record gift

The team would play at least one season -- and most likely two -- at alternate venues, with Chicago's Soldier Field as a likely option. Northwestern also could play more late-season games at Wrigley Field, where it will host Purdue on Nov. 20.

Game at Wrigley would be fun.

Cool. More/better seats for Spartans.

They can barely fill up the one they have not sure an upgrade in facilities will put more fans in the seats. My recommend is they drop their GPA requirement for their football team and improve the product. Improve the product first THEN you upgrade the stadium.

Maybe they just want to make it nicer for opposing fans.
