Interesting question. I don't want to look it up, but what you gave is probably a safe bet. Maybe Oregon or Oklahoma. They've played in a few, but can't remember whether they've won or lost.

Oregon has won the rose bowl twice and the fiesta bowl, but that’s it since 2010.
Oklahoma has won the cotton fiesta and sugar since 2011, so I’ll edit that post. I guess I’ll look up the other three to make sure. Anyone else I should check?

Good research Travis. But we aren’t increasing your salary from recruiting coordinator. Unless someone knows Ishbia, we can add the title of research engineer but we cant increase your pay.

Honestly it’s just a labor of love. My main gig pays handsomely in the form of hot pockets for recruits which sometimes they only eat half of so I can sneak some bites in after they throw it in the trash anyway I’m trying to say I’m doing pretty great

I can't think who else might have done it. I'm realizing how little I remember who actually won NY6/BCS bowls, if it wasn't a semi-final or Championship.

Re: How many teams have won 3 of the big 6 bowls in the last 10 or so years?
So if we go back to 13-14 when MSU won the Rose Bowl, and count the number of teams that have won three or more different (what are now) NY6 bowl games,...
Clemson is in because they have won the Orange, Fiesta and Cotton a total of five times.
Alabama is in because they have won the Cotton, Rose, Peach, Sugar, and Orange a total of five times.
OSU is in because they have won the Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton, and Rose a total of five times.
UGA is in because they have won the Rose, Sugar, and Peach a total of three times.
MSU is in because they have won the Cotton, Rose, and Peach a total of three times.
Oklahoma is out because they have won the Sugar and Cotton a total of three times.
So, going back to 2013-14, the only teams to have won three or more different NY6 bowl games are
MSU
Clemson
Alabama
OSU
UGA

It is kind of crazy this program went from John L. Smith to 4 NY6 games since 2013-14, and they are 3-1 in those games.

I forgot about Georgia. Sorry fam.
I counted Oklahoma because I started the clock a few years before our rose bowl win for no reason, but I’m comfortable with editing that and kicking Oklahoma out. See ya losers

If you go from 2011-12 to the present, Oklahoma is still out. They did not win any of those six games in 11-12 or 12-13. The only team you add is TAMU (Cotton, Peach, and Orange). Oregon has Rose and Fiesta wins only. Oklahoma was in the Insight Bowl in 11-12 and lost to TAMU in the Cotton in 12-13.

If you start at 10-11, you add Oklahoma (Fiesta, Sugar, Cotton) and LSU (Fiesta, Peach, and Cotton).
Ok, thanks. I was afraid I wouldn't have anything to talk about at my next party but now I have a real conversation starter. I wouldn't mind some proofing though.

And just to add to that, we've now had SIX 11-win seasons in the last 12 years.
