Michigan State started its 2016 recruiting class with a bang Friday afternoon, landing a commitment from four-star Top247 wide receiver Cameron Chambers.

I don't know. When I was a member though, the thing I always thought was funny is the notes from recruiting analysts.

Keep an eye on Matthew Miller from the class of 17! He's already starting to turn heads at camps and word on the street is, he has some interest in some of the bigger schools. We'll keep you updated from time to time.

Then you never hear about whoever that person is again.

We really are the opposite of Michigan. When we get a big crootin' score, everyone downplays it and acts like he'll probably decommit anyway, so there's no point being excited. When we lose out on a big name recruit, words like "trainwreck" and "disaster" get thrown around like chicken wings at a Hoke family reunion, and everyone seems to forget we just won the Rose Bowl.

It's ok to be happy once in awhile, folks.
