Confirmed: Adreian Payne dead at the age of 31. RIP

As I understand the reports Payne’s girlfriend got a call from her friend who was the girlfriend of the shooter.

AP shows up, speaks to the shooter who subsequently leaves his car where the argument took place, goes to his apartment, retrieves his 9mm, goes back, shoots AP then calls police.

Florida’s Stand your Ground law has opened up all kinds of avenues to shoot people who say or do things that might offend then claim self defense in court.

AP died doing a favor.  

But then it’s Florida where laws like Stand your Ground leaves you no choice but tell someone you’ll call law enforcement but you can’t intercede, ever.

Yikes, a kid with brain issues... goddammit. Heartbreaking.

I forgot AP’s mom died in his arms when he was 13. I feel physically I’ll listening to that pod cast. Nothing against Day Day it’s just unbelievably heartbreaking. Wow. If you think you have problems…

Florida is a fucked up place.. even beyond the sand and heat.
