Amazing Musicality
It is really hard to get two piccolos to sound like one, let alone four.
btw - the tough part is not the eight note arpeggios or the trills. It is where they are all holding the same note for two beats. Very hard for that to be exactly in tune.

an oldie but a goodie.. wanna see some good geetar playing (not to mention some amazing songwriter), check out James McMurtry on "Choctaw Bingo".. he's about to melt that thing at around 3:12 mark with some fills.
saw him open for Isbell a handful of years ago. Talked with him a bit later. Was friendly enough but a little on the curmudgeonly side.. which was to be expected.

Post like your wife is looking over your shoulder and you won’t get any if she thinks you’re being an ass.

You know I respect the heck out of you and will do my best to make this go a positive experience for everyone here. I'm willing to acknowledge any hurt I may have caused and listen to any grievances without judgement. All I ask in exchange is for respect and honesty.

Speaking of Musicality I was playing my telecaster into an old 70s Fender. A sound that’s filled up so many honky tonks and road houses across this great land. American Exceptionalism.

It does, although I have never been good enough to bring out all of its capabilities. One of my kids played it in high school until we bought them a modern horn.
They played the new horn sax in Don Sinta's studio at UofM. We bought them a Semer Series 3 by going to the big band interment store outside of South Bend and trying 6 different horns. Finally took the neck from one horn combined with the body of a different horn. The high school band was hugely impressed with the resulting tone as was Sinta.
(Don't get sax players talking about the mechanics of mouth pieces, necks, tone holes, etc, if you want to get out alive)
You all have a great Christmas!
