Snowmageddon: November 2022 Edition
I’m taking a wait and see approach. It seems like every single year the forecasters get the first snowstorm wrong. Ideally, they’ll be on the low end of the wrong scale.
What are you staring down?

The fact still haven't got my snowblower fixed. Local repair place replaced the 20 year old carburetor 3 years ago. Ran like new for a couple years. Went to fire it up last year and the valve for the gas supply was leaking. Still want to make a last mulching pass over the few remaining leaves. Was hoping to get that done before having the place pick up both the rider (needs a tune up and blade sharpening) and the blower to fix the leak.tGreenWay wrote:This afternoon I heard 4”-6” from tomorrow morning until Saturday. Little earlier than normal, but totally down with it.
Also, not going to the game Saturday, but, weather be damned, still planning to hit the Peanut Barrel beforehand for beer and bourbon. Then heading back home.

1879. I’m a little over a year younger than DWags, and 50 years younger than Pantry.

I haven’t had mine tuned up in three years, either. Meant to do it last week but forgot. I’ll wait until this snow is gone to have them come pick it up and work on it. There’s no way they’d have time right now.

talk of their home game vs the Browns this Sunday being moved to Ford Field. I'm guessing the Bills would just stay in Detroit for the Thanksgiving game.

It was shitty driving up. The snow wasn't a big deal, it was the wind/cold Temps, and lack of salt on the road. It was slick as shit.

Re: Snowmageddon: November 2022 Edition
I'd say EL maybe has 4-5 inches total so far. Some melted because the ground is still relatively warm (it was 75 degrees 8 days ago)... the wooden bridges on the Northern Tier Trail are probably a more accurate representation of snowfall totals and I suspect that's about what was on them.
more snow coming, too.

Good news, thus far, for the farmers and others affected by our drought.

Honestly, it’s like a Thursday decision. I think I went to four this year. This will be five. Basketball season tickets, I actually like the drive there especially on weekdays. No tailgate prep, Wife won’t go, so it’s a 90 minute drive of just my thoughts. Then basketball, then home.
