So, I’m listening to ESPN radio earlier today in my car. Turns out Christian McCaffrey was asked who the better athlete was his mom or dad. As you know, his dad played for the Broncos. He answered without hesitation, his mom was. This was the example he gave:

My mom was three months pregnant with my brother, and she ran a 4.87, 40 yard dash. My dad’s fastest time at the combine was 4.69

Obviously he gets the fast twitch muscle from his mom.

His mom's father (Dave Sime) was an Olympic sprinter and former world record holder in the 100, 220 and 220 yard low hurdles. He played baseball, football and ran track while at Duke. He was actually drafted by the Lions but chose not to play NFL football.

For me it's the hair, but only because of the way he tosses it. MSU had a long-haired linebacker or two who would do the same thing, take off their helmets and shake their heads like Brooke Shields in a shampoo commercial. It's a bit annoying.

I think he bothers me because he seems like the real-life version of Mitch from Dazed and Confused. But the better he does, the more Meyer looks like an ass which is not really a bad thing.

It’s astounding that they had the record they did. They always seemed kinda shitty but they somehow kept winning.

Lions gotta be the favorites in the division going into next year. But there’s a whole off-season to go, so we’ll see how everything shakes out

Kork was doing okay with his receivers at the time I left. Did something happen at the end with a receiver? I just assumed #8 tried to do too much on his own and messed up, which he’s done well to avoid (mostly) this season.
