I said she was the "best player in college basketball." That was the post.

From a skills perspective, I stand by that post. Relative to Clark's competition, no other player in CBB demonstrates the same skill set.

Also, if you read my above post carefully, it was about using those comparisons for the purpose of diminishing skills and quality of play.

With the transfer portal, and the size and strength of some of the women in college, I still think in my lifetime we see a woman take a chance and transfer from a South Carolina or UConn to a mid major mens team to hone her skills for the WNBA and we see a coach with enough balls to realize there are some women out there who can help their team.

I don't thnk we'll see it in the sports of football or hockey in my lifetime. I don't know enough about soccer, and hell, I think womens softball is more difficult than mens baseball in college right now anyway, so take that for what it is. But I have to imagine that ball is on top of a batter in one wink of an eye as far as hitting. Some of these women pictures are freaks. That brings me to another question. can men learn to throw the ball that fast underhand? Is it legal? would it save on arm breakdowns?

With the smaller field things happen quickly, however the larger ball slows things down, so maybe it equals out.

When I was a kid recreational men's softball was fast pitch underhand, but I don't know what the size of the infield was.

IIR there was a Major League relief pitcher who threw underhandedly. (Dan Quisenberry)

At the end of the day, I am just saying that whenever there is a thread about women's sports, especially basketball, somebody rolls in and does the "Well, they couldn't beat (insert male or men's team)." We get it. By comparison, men have enhanced skills due to size, speed, and strength advantages. But we don't do this anywhere else. We didn't run down MSU's recent 11-2 season because they would have been wrecked by the KC Chiefs, even though we are talking about the same sport and differences in size, speed, and strength. It's just this weird reaction that comes up in mostly male spaces when the conversations turns to women's sports.

Seems like you compared her to a man in the first post.

relax OTPT. I know the running joke has been you against Tum, Loyer and pretty much everyone. But I honestly never read about your basketball back round. If you say you played with or against Booker I believe you and would actually like to hear more.

OTPT is why Booker didn't come to MSU.

Also, will I be a first round pick in the upcoming Professional Message Board Association poster draft, Nordic?

I closed my eyes, thought I had him by the waist. Turns out, it was just his knee. Pretty sure I still have a bruise.

Every year there was a winter banquet for Lansing area youth baseball teams that won championships. The group that held the dinner every year would bring in well known retired Tigers and other mlb players. I remember Frank Howard was a large man with a buzz cut. That’s it. That’s all I remember about meeting him.
The Gator’s ring was effing enormous. It’s funny, because in a different year I also tried on another old Tigers’ WS ring and it was too small. I’d busted my ring finger and it was extra swollen. I’m so old now that I can’t remember who that Tiger was. lol
