It seems to be 13 scholarship players, the MSU Basketball Roster lists 14 players and a general internet answer to the question of "how many players on a roster gives the answer of 13 to 15.

All doable, this team would have tied Purdue for the Big Ten regular season title instead of one of 7 sharing 2nd place.

Injuries and all, Izzo and this team exceeded expectations.

If Hall comes back healthy, he will be leading this team. He had a shit year after the injury. I'd bet Walker is gone. Not sure he has any more to prove. I guess if his NIL cash is close to a European contract, maybe not.
Not sure why everyone is assuming Fears (247 9th ranked freshman) will surpass Hollomon (247 12th ranked + 1 year of experience). I could see Sissoko coming off the bench (or at least movement on that front)

Unless Fears is a generational player. Izzo has started at least one freshman point guard.

Nope. I think there are schools (like BYU football) that fully fund scholarships for walk-ons through NIL
