I think it's grand fathered in that SCum gets to play USC and UCLA at home 45 out of the first 50 times they play them.

I think that’s a great idea. Fort Wayne is probably the mid point so I think that’s fair, but if they really wanted to step out and make some noise we could play it in Muncie IN

I think that’s a great idea. Fort Wayne is probably the mid point so I think that’s fair, but if they really wanted to step out and make some noise we could play it in Muncie IN

The mid point between here and Los Angeles is pretty much Nebraska so we can play ucla and usc in Nebraska’s stadium. I’m sure they’ll let us use it for free because #thatsbigtenclass

It was a cool place to watch football. My Dad used to get the hanger seats (third base line upper deck scoreboard) from the TV station. Unreal sight line.

Having toured the entire stadium ( press box, clubhouse etc) it's amazing how they dressed 60 football players in that clubhouse. Place was SMALL. And they had to walk single file through the tunnel to get to the field via the dugout. Very narrow with low ceilings.

I miss the old ballpark.

Those were the best seats to watch baseball also.

But, it had a decent amount of crappy seats. We had season tickets in the lower deck LF. But, we didn't know any better. It was great going to games.

Would have been fun to have a game there. Like playing Northwestern at Wrigley (maybe that's our payback for moving a game to Ford Field).

If my math is correct (and every Big Ten team plays at least one of USC/UCLA), then 2 teams will play USC AND UCLA.

Will those 2 teams be OSU and UM?

Perhaps, but how does that help oiur football team. That's my point. What are they willing to do for Tucker and his program. Izzo doesn't need help. But in the Big Ten's twisted minds, they rip a home game away from MSU, put PSU"s offense on a perfect field to take advantage of their speed this year, and in return they tell Tucker and MSU football fan's. "Well, we'll throw the basketball program a bone for this." Hmmmmmm, I don't think it sits quite right.

Nice graphic. I guess I'm of the mindset that it would nice to split u of m and PSU so that we only have to play one of them away each year. Like even year u of m at home, PSU on the road; odd year u of m way, PSU at home.

It is probably of the idea that it could have been worse.

Face it, MSU is feared and shit on. The "favor" was a national audience on black Friday, with the hope that Penn State makes us look pathetic.

The favor is that we don't have protected rivalries with OSU or Penn State (and thus won't have to play them every year).

We still play them in '24 and '25.  Could be at the end of the year.  But not a protected rival, so they'll drop off the schedule at some point.
