Education in the US
I think the US is fucked. This whole attack on the Dept of Education is going to fuck us over. So anyway I just posted this on Nextdoor. We'll see how the comments are.
Does anyone know of any local groups to fight against the moms for liberty or klueless klucking karens, as I call them? I'd like to find a way for my kids to get an actual real education, not some weird out of touch reality that these people are trying to push on the rest of normal people. I'd prefer for educated people with degrees in education to come up with programs. This whole agenda against 'woke' is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Do it like Florida and teach the kids that slaves were only in it to make themselves better.

Re: Education in the US
I'm not sure about national groups to counter the "Moms for Liberty", however I have seen both community voting & organized community resistance to their attempts to dominate school boards.
Here in my local community, it was obvious who they were in the school board election, as they all ran together and had signs will all their names, and we were smart enough to vote for other people.
There have been articles about various communities where they gained control for one election cycle and in the next cycle lost it as people learned what their agenda is. IMO the national Republican movement has gone a step too far with this group, as when they are elected, and people see their agenda they don't like it. Parents don't like it when politicians start fucking around with education of their kids.
Now, of course, with one of their founders in the news for her sexual relationships with another woman & sex tapes they are taking a hit in popularity.

Moms for Liberty is wild. Kinky Nazi pornographers as your core constituency is pretty niche.
