2) When Meyer was fired, how many current and former players publicly defended him? That's an actual question. I don't know the answer. Lots of current and former players come to Izzo's defense. That does not make it alright, but it might be telling in Meyer's case. College players, especially at highly visible and competitive programs, put up with a lot that professional players rightfully will not deal with.

3) Meyer's transgressions go so far beyond yelling. You know that. You're clearly intentionally ignoring everything else to try and draw equivalency with Izzo. It's very desperate behavior.

But I think we’re on the same page. Any doubt I had about bringing on meyer with ideally some measure of oversight was mitigated by the headlines last week

Once you accept into your soul that you will never, ever win these people over and that even when you’re doing nothing sitting in a hotel jacking off these guys will come at you because of something Michigan did, it gets much easier. I do want Meyer here, and I would like some measure of oversight to make sure past mistakes don’t happen again (and I would just have to hope this would all be discussed in advance) and if we were to hire him they will write their articles. But they wrote their articles about lily white dantonio and captain Jesus cousins. They write their articles when news breaks that Michigan might have been running the biggest cheating ring ever. They will write their articles no matter who we hire, so fuck em, get the best coach we can and have the biggest narc nerd you can find following him around campus if you need to.

Not one person said MSU is morally superior, and if they did they should be laughed at. I do not ever recall supporting Robertson or knowing about these issues previous to his signing. As far as I am concerned, if Dantonio knew about Robertson’s past, he had no business offering him a scholarship and we are better off without him as a coach.

It appears former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has changed his nickname for Michigan's football program.

For years, Meyer has referred to Michigan as the "School Up North." During a recent appearance on the Big Ten Network, he referred to the Wolverines as "The Rival School."

This says what a phenomenal job Barnett is doing keeping the team together through this shit show. The fact the kids still care about this and want to stay in EL (for at least the remainder of the season) is quite frankly amazing.
