Expect a collapse? yes. Hope it wouldnt? Sure. Maybe they would find some pride to play for. But nope, everyone including the staff is at least half checked out in the season.

Yes. If they are going to phone-it-in as coaches, we might as well make it easier and send them on their way now.

It's not even about improvement, it's about at least having people in place who will work hard and care about the future of the program. They know they are lame ducks, and they are coaching like it. The impact of apathy will be felt for a long time. Do you think, if this is their effort on game-day, they are going to spend time working hard to keep players committed and recruit new players knowing they will be fired on 11/25/23? Don't be complacent with their complacency.
