Of the big lake they called Gitche Gumee
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
When the skies of November turn gloomy

Perhaps the most chilling lyrics I’ve ever heard in a song:
Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Can't remember the poster on TOB. Covered the song in a dorm room at State. Was very good. Checked youtube but can't find itMotown Spartan wrote:Perhaps the most chilling lyrics I’ve ever heard in a song:

Went to TOB today to see if I could get any clues on tracking down the cover youtube. Realized I don't remember my password there. Didn't care to reset so just looked around. The Pantry wrote:Can't remember the poster on TOB. Covered the song in a dorm room at State. Was very good. Found this mildly amusing thread suggesting different lyrics to the song.

Went to Annapolis, but was an officer in the Marine Corps.DWags wrote:Wasn’t Connor Stalions in the Navy? The Chippewa on down.
Numbers dude on TOB also was a Marine Corps officer.
Clearly: Numbers dude = Sign Stealing Guy
