Please Discontinue Using "Hack" in 2024

Time to find a new way to describe those little things that make your life better, no more "life hacks". Also, this thread will probably become cringe-worthy. OTOH, it could become iconic.

Whatever HACK developed this list should know, it won't have the IMPACT that they were hoping for AT THE END OF THE DAY. They don't have the RIZZ to SLAY these ICONIC words and phrases and it comes off super CRINGE-WORTHY. They're so OBSESSED with making this list every year, I hope they have a SIDE HUSTLE because WAIT FOR IT...this doesn't cut it.

It started as a tongue in cheek thing in the 1970's by some one named Rabe at Lake Superior State. He is dead, but it is a tradition, now.

Others make take it too seriously but they don't.

My boss has a bunch of sayings that are cringe-worthy cause repeated so often. "From ten thousand feet..." ranks #1. "So on and so forth..." is #2.

Bill Rabe. Very engaging, friendly, funny man. He’d show up on talk radio around the state discussing the annual list. He was great PR for the school all by himself.
