Ran into a family of oilers in Orlando that were going to the game tonight. Nice family, I feel bad for them, but still hope the kids had a great time. They drove from Texas to S. Florida to go to the game. I hope they enjoy the adventure. Like all Canadians meme nice. They were great around Kyle.

This has been awesome. In general I'm indifferent toward the Panthers, but South Florida fans are insufferable when their teams are successful.

So if they complete the greatest collapse in sports championship series history (this would top the 1942 Wings, IMO), it will be one of the funniest things possible.

And if the Panthers do win game 7, I'll be happy for my wife and a few die hard Panthers fans, but I don't think the over the top exaggerated enthusiasm will be as bad from the general fanbase. The bandwagoners in Little Havana that have never watched a hockey game in their life but have been ready with their pots and pans, may have gotten bored.

And it's great drama for a neutral.

But that was in the ALCS, not the World Series. Which I guess is technically a championship, but I was referring to finals (the Yankees-Red Sox is why I didn't want to call the Panthers potential loss the worst playoff series collapse...that was pretty epic).

GAME 7

Oilers seem to be playing better and have all the momentum, yet the game is in FL. Hard to predict a winner.

There have been Edmonton Tourism billboards around town since the series started. Headline says, "5 Cups, 0 Rats." With a scenic picture of Edmonton.

At first, it kind of felt like trolling. Then when the Panthers were up 3-0, people were laughing at it. Now, not so much.

Same. And agreed.

Oiler coaching was bad. Clearly their top lines were gassed at the last 5 minutes yet they played them anyway. If your third line can't play maybe you don't deserve the cup anyway.
