This is only 20 minutes away from me, and we frequent splash pads in the area. I did not know about this one. If I did, this would have likely been one we would have visited on a weekend.
After this happened, all the parks in our area closed just in case.

This is fucking bullshit. I hate this country. I can't believe that this is something we have to worry about. Now I need to make sure my kids don't hear about this, because they will be scared going to a splash pad or park around us.

It’s not nearly as big. It’s a big pad connected to a hose with water coming out of little holes and kids run through it saying woo. We have a smaller one in our back yard that will get big time use this week.

Water parks are big.
A splash pad is just a large cement area with different "hoses" and water coming out of holes. Think of like many different sprinkler attachments.
There may be a giant bucket that fills with water that dumps out too. Here s a pic of one. Every place is different.
