California Gov. Gavin Newsom is calling a special session of the Legislature to shore up the state’s legal defenses against President-elect Donald Trump, he announced Thursday.

The proclamation targets Trump’s dismantling of clean-vehicle rules, his repeal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and his withholding of disaster aid. It also references potential restrictions on abortion medication, and casts a net beyond Trump’s statements to include “statements and policy papers issued by individuals close to his campaign and by Republican congressional leadership.”

Those lies really weren't why fewer people didn't come out to vote, anyway.

So Trump already had his judge in place to strike down Bidens law that keeps families together two days after the election. This is deeper and more coordinated than Trump just blowing smoke at rallies.

Now that we’re going to start knocking on doors, round up “illegals” and apparently legals who appear brown and have an accent…… Can we do the same with guns? I’m sure Trump supporters will be in favor of the government knocking their doors down to do illegal gun ownership sweeps. Right, right?
