Pre BCS was the most absurd way ever to end a sports season.

Say this years NBA finals was concluded the same way Michigan and Nebraska's 1997 season. You'd have Miami play one important post season game at a neutral site against a team that would play against a team like the Houston Rockets, and then have San Antonio play a similar neutral site game against say a team like the Brooklyn Nets.

Say both Miami and San Antonio win their neutral site games and then coaches vote Miami the best team and the writers vote San Antonio the best team.

There you have it, two teams with 1/2 a championship. So ghey.
