Today's loss felt exactly like the UConn loss...had the lead, had the game, but good hustle and rock solid d turned the game around.

I think both games are examples of where MSU lost to national champions.

OL is not impressive right now. That really killed MSU in the 2nd half. A good running game would have kept their O off the field and the MSU D rested. Very disappointing.

The only reason why everyone isn't worried is because they saw how bad the B10 was today, and there's no reason to believe that the Spartans cant' win out.

There's no excuse to lose against any of the remaining teams on our schedule including the B10 championship game.

Oregon is a tough team to play. All of those idiots on the other board that carry on about Oregon being smoke and mirrors saw that they are a tough team. So what I take from tonight is that MSU has a lot of work to do but has the skill to be a very good team. I think MSU showed up to play, and played well, but I have to give props to Oregon and Mariotta. They were down and could have given up, but Mariotta just made some great plays and I have to tip my hat to him. I don't think this was an embarrassment or anything like that. Definitely not SOS.

That being said, our run game should have been better than that. I don't care what BS the announcers were spewing about Oregon's defense bulking up. After having trouble running the ball against Jacksonville State, I think there's some issues that need to be worked out.

Oregon is good. We went there and competed. Were in control for awhile. We run the table and have some other things fall our way we're right in that picture.

I don't think that level is all that different than MSU. A few athletic discrepancies, but less than were advertised.

There was that one drive where they suffer us on the 4th and 2 and then scored on two plays. Absolutely shredded the d.

Not only would we have been in, IMO we would have beaten either FSU and Auburn. Ironically, the only team last year that I wasn't sure we'd match up with was a healthy Oregon team.
