They had the best players and are right now a better team, not sure how that equals the SOS bullshit

Yeah but MSU got the chance to play a highly ranked OSU team at the end. That kind of scenario already seems impossible after just two weeks.

You are correct, I meant for the title to be evocative and to promote discussion.

Having a little distance from the game and some time to reflect here are my take aways that are all positive:

- We should win all of our remaining games on our schedule

- As most posters have pointed out we played well and were in that game to the last 5 minutes

- At this point in the season we are a much better team than we were at game 2 last season

- Loved what I saw out of Malik McDowell and Lawrence Thomas

- I'm still very pleased with the direction Dantonio has this program headed and I do believe he will get us into the playoffs at some point
