POLL: What Should OT Board Be Called?

In the tradition of political and other OT discourse I think it should be called something with less negative connotations than "the swill bin". For instance, the rock, once known as the engagement rock, is also a place for political and religious discussion/demonstration. Is "The Rock" or "The engagement rock" too cool? How about Cowles House, or The Jenison (as a nod to the crazyness including demonstrations that used to take place in the field in front of Jenison). Please respond with some ideas if you agree and I'll do a poll. (We can do that!!!).

I suggested calling it the rock in the early days of swill, but SRC had decided on the swill by that point. I'm fine calling it the swill but it appears that;s what the whole site is being referred to as so maybe a change could be in store.

I'm a fan of The Rock, made the suggestion in an earlier thread, but if there's more support maybe we can get it changed to something that actually is related to MSU.

How about Rama, something about hours of day drinking sitting in a booth at Rama would bring out good conversations that could easily go awful. Seems appropriate for that board.

The only way this works is if mods ban all political talk from the board and I don't think they want to do that.
Otherwise, the entire board will simply become Wells Hall and political/religious trolling will become the norm.

Give them a place to do their thing. Give mods a place to move their threads without deleting them.

Unless mods are going to ban people for political talk (which seems ridiculous to me), they won't STFU.
People telling them to STFU will just make it worse.

Trust me, I've seen other message boards try to do this, and honestly the best solution I've ever seen is a clear separation ala Wells Hall on tRCMB.
