Had a class with him when he was still at UM. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Dumber than hell. Really didn't like doing his homework.

Enos is screwed. This will be his last year at CMU.

Rawls is not the first CMU player to run into trouble with the law this season. However, he might be the most important. He really gave CMU some great production in their first two games and was key to their win over Purdue. That production was missed against Syracuse. Without Rawls and a couple of other key players, CMU will not finish well and Enos has had enough time to make it work. Unfortunate but maybe he returns to MSU in come capacity.

CMU might be able to beat Kansas this weekend. Not sure if they can fire him with two wins over Power 5 teams, despite how shitty those teams are. That said, I know pretty much nothing about CMU's expectations of the football team.

Good call on Kansas, and that might be true about power five wins. Kansas is pretty bad. Although Syracuse only beat Villanova by 1pt and then completely demolished CMU two weeks later. In any event, two wins versus power five might mean something. Especially for a small school looking for reasons not to spend more money than necessary.

Brian Kelly and Butch Jones years created a lot of expectations. To some degree unfair since MAC football is cyclical and no team dominates for a long stretch. But Enos is roughly 19-30 at CMU, and I suspect another season under 500 will be a problem. Also, I think the type of recruiting Fleck has been doing at WMU is what people expected from Enos at CMU. To date, that has not been the case.

There is too much emphasis placed on 'Power 5'. Wouldn't Purdue struggle to win a game in the AAC? Vanderbilt is downright turrible. Colorado? Maybe the B1G just needs to do what the SEC does. Play other Power 5 conferences, but don't play any who typically have winning seasons.
