Trying to go to a decent Italian place not named Olive Garden around here. What are my options?

This is going to be a very vague answer and I apologize.
There is a steel mill in Lansing, Alro, I think. Wherever they are located at, there is a nearby Italian restaurant. I never went there, it's supposedly pretty authentic, but there were supposedly some pretty authentic Italians in there. Heard the food is outstanding, don't piss anyone off that's eating there.

That's why I said Emil's. It's in Michigan Ave though where DeLuca's is on Willow. It used to be the Willow Street Bar and has been serving food there for over 50 years.steveschneider wrote:Back in my day Emil's was it.

We always went to DeLuca's for pizza and Emil's for everything else. This thread is making me hungry.

Emil's had pretty good pizza too. Westgate Tavern has good pizza also. Cujino's in GL, but that's a hike from EL.

Go to spags. Get a calzone. Free focaccia bread. Leave the gun take the cannoli. As long as you're not drinking it'll be around 20 bucks.

Cugino's beats all of these out. Though it is Grand Ledge... not "Lansing/East Lansing"
