If this is the plane, then how the **** did they not find it sooner? It seems to be right around the last known position, isn't it? It looks to be where the uncertainty began as to whether it headed Northwest or Southwest.

Edit: Sorry, I guess it was thought to have been on path angled more southerly. I thought the flight path diagram in the article was the suspected flight path, though I guess that's showing the path that it would have taken if this is the plane. Still, though, it's only 100 miles off the coast in an area close enough to one of the suggested paths that you'd think they'd have looked more closely around there.

Private pilot and science writer Jeff Wise, one of CNN's aviation analysts during the network's wall-to-wall coverage of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, has a wild theory about the plane's true location.

In short, he thinks that the plane landed on a remote runway in Kazakhstan and might be part of a larger plot Russia orchestrated but has yet to fully play out.
