I'm pretty guilty of Gary Harris love. I think you guys know this by now. Unfortunately he is never going to get his due as a Spartan because when he was a Soph we somehow blew our opportunity to become immortal. Just finished with 24 and a really solid game on both ends. I'm not certain he's ever going to be an all NBA player but he's probably going to be an All Star at some point, 12+ year career. They just called him the best shooting guard in the NBA, which I'm not quite sure is accurate. But he's really good and only getting better. He's 22.

Yeah, he's not even a top 5 SG yet (I guess it depends who you consider an SG, can be murky sometimes), but he certainly has the talent to get there soon. And I'll never forgive Shabaz Napier.

Steph just got into it on a tip ball with some reserve guard on OKC Christon. Russ joins in the shoving match and Draymond comes in and sweeps both Thunder guys off of Steph. Way to protect your guy, Day Day. Getting a T obv. Game on TNT.

Spurs started out the game 15-0, soon 20-3 or something. Warriors rallied to take the lead in the 3rd. Spurs now going to the line for the tie. Great game. Turn it on if you're bored.

Ha. I took them in game +13.5 when they were down 17 and added over 201 in game because they started out like 1 for 13.

I was going to parlay the ML with the over (I think it was 206.5 pregame) but I didn't have the guts. The Spurs usually kill overs.

Re: Spartans in the NBA/Pro Hoops
Well I'm not really sure why I'm still up watching this GSW/T-Wolves game but I am. It's pretty much a blowout with the Dubs stretching the lead to 20 late in the 3rd. Anyway, I guess AP is healthy again and they put him in for some garbage time in the 3rd with Day Day still on the floor. He's playing the 5 and checking JaVale McGee. First trip down on O he effortlessly knocks down a 3. Then on the other end he contests the shot and gets the board.
Now picks up a foul on Curry under the hoop. I wish AP could get in a rotation next year.

AP with the ultra important rejection on shot taken well after the buzzer. Can't let that garbage go in.

He's been hurt for the past 25 games or so...I thought I remember it was a foot issue.
Also, with them having KAT and Dieng to go along with some other front court pieces, AP is like their 11th or 12th guy in the pecking order. I'd like to see him get a better opportunity. He has skills but he's a step slow I think when it comes to guarding some of the stretch 4s in the league.

Re: Spartans in the NBA/Pro Hoops
Random NBA observation of the night - as crazy as this sounds, the only way the Warriors don't win the Champ right now is Kevin Durant.
Curry is healthy right now, he is fucking on point. He was not hitting shots the way he is right now this late in the year in either of the past two seasons. Credit Kerr for forcing rest upon his top guys. Warriors have won 12 in a row.
If they win tonight, with the SAS loss earlier to the Lakers, they clinch the 1 seed. KD is projected back Saturday. I'm sure Kerr would like to rest Curry, Thompson, Draymond (sitting out tonight, along with Iguodala) for the last 4 games but they've got to figure out a way to get the chemistry right with KD going into the playoffs. Not sure how that's gonna work.
Honestly imo they could sit KD out until October and coast to a Championship.

A lot of that will depend on if lebron decides he'd rather play basketball than hear himself talkWhiteBoyHatcher wrote:Random NBA observation of the night - as crazy as this sounds, the only way the Warriors don't win the Champ right now is Kevin Durant.

I don't think it's gonna matter. Steph couldn't play last year. He was beat up and couldn't shoot. He's back to being Steph at the right time this year. Klay was awful last night but the night before he was 7-14 from 3. Warriors are gonna roll unless they can't integrate KD in time.
