I went to Crunchys a few months ago with some buddies. That place in general is kinda shitty, but there were some tables of hotties getting hammered on Long Island ice teas, which was amusing.

I went there a couple years ago, and the burgers definitely aren't what they used to be when I was in school, nor the pizza. In fact, I thought the burger I ordered kind of sucked. The first time I noticed the decline of food was around 2008ish. The service has always been hit or miss, but when you are crushing buckets, you only need a waitress once in a while for a reload.

Last time I was there the buckets looked in bad shape and might have been in use since Tanfan's day. Oh and blanch got us cut off.

I've been to the bar with blanch more than a few times. I've been cut off almost every time (twice at Crunchy's). You'd think I'd learn Crunchys service sucks 1431518612

The service sucked even when Paul ( The original owner that bought it from Gino Baldino) owned it. But now its just shit. Is it still owned by the family of that really obese guy that died in the car wreck? He seemed to have the best service going when he and his wife ran it, but it was never great.

I suggest that you guys try HopCat..

I was there yesterday and had the High Flyin' Fence Post White Water Blueberry Belgian Fly Fishin' Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner Porter..

not only was it just a phenomenal beer.. I'd rank it a 97.8 on the iPodY-Square Beers of the World scale.. but there was a really impressive contingent of SUV owners in attendance.
