Big Ten coach rankings: Few do it better than Urban Meyer

Franklin is #4 and he hasn't even coached a B1G game. Ouch for our buddies in A2.

Yes! And it is not even close. Minnesota has a much stronger organization than over in Ann Arbor. Imagine how dysfunctional they would be in Ann Arbor if the Hoke missed a game (granted they may play better without their headset-less cheerleader). Without Kill the Minnesota still plays like a well-oiled machine.

My rankings:

1. Urban
2. Coach D
3. Kill
4. Andersen
5. Pelini
6. Fitz
7. Ferentz
8. Franklin
9. Wilson
10. The guy at purdue
11. The guy at Maryland
12. Beckman
13. Hoke
14. Flood

Ferentz should be lower than 9th. The guy doesn't care about his players and risked their health.

The article doesn't do a good job establishing its criteria. If the ranking is based on overall body of work as a head coach, I'm okay with Meyer as #1. If it's strictly based on Big Ten resume, Coach D is the clear #1.

This is pretty impressive.

In Mark Dantonio’s 7 seasons, 82% (105/128) of his MSU players who have completed their eligibility have earned their undergraduate degrees.
