I watched the last 8 minutes of the first half. No Davis. Swanigan played in the last few minutes, but not sure if either played in the first 12 minutes.

In case Jalen Rose talking about recruiting and the greatness of Coach Cal wasnt great enough, they just teased that in the 2nd half we will talk about why these players should be paid.

I liked the part where Rose said college ball should be a farm system for the NBA. Leave it to a person who could use a little more education to completely deemphasize education.

So basically what is going on is UK "only" has two McDs which already makes their recruiting class top 3. But then 10 of the top players are undecided and UK will get their pick based on who goes pro.
Duke of course has two. This shit pisses me off

What could you take from this game? It's pretty much "I have the ball. I'm not giving it up. I'm going to jack a three or go right at the basket."

Davis got the ball with his back to the basket. I thought we might see a post move, but the ball got knocked away. He recoverd the loose ball but passed it away. You're not getting the ball back in this game.

Swanigan not really establishing position like I thought he might given his size. But this is not that kind of game. When they talked to Simmons he said something about having to adjust to a game where everybody wants to shoot and nobody wants to pass.

Michigan State signee Deyonta Davis and MSU target Caleb Swanigan played together for the West team tonight in the McDonald's All-American Game in Chicago, and next week Swanigan will reveal if they'll play together in college.

It was a quiet night statistically for 6-foot-8 forwards Davis -- Michigan's Mr. Basketball out of Muskegon -- and Swanigan (Fort Wayne, Ind.), but earlier in the day Swanigan tweeted that he will announce his college decision at the Nike Hoop Summit, April 11 in Portland, Ore.
