The Michigan State football staff is keeping tabs on Class of 2017 tight end Keegan Cossou of Greenville High School.

The 6-foot-5, 230-pound prospect is seeing list of offers expand despite his verbal commitment to Central Michigan.

Cossou committed to CMU back in April. Shortly afterward, the spring evaluation period kicked into high gear and multiple Big Ten teams extended him a scholarship. Despite those offers, Cossou remains committed to the Chippewas, though he is keeping the door slightly open.

Cocoa (Fla.) three-star athlete Bruce Judson released his top ten schools via his Twitter account on Wednesday and UCF has made the cut.

This is the third list that UCF has made in the past couple of weeks, joining Antwan Owens and Tarvaris Jackson.

The former Ohio State commit as gathered a ton of interest in his recruiting cycle, especially from the likes of Florida and Pitt.

Aside from UCF, Judson completes his list with Florida, Arizona, TCU, Auburn, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Alabama, Michigan State.

DT Dalyn Wade-Perry: The Pope John XXIII (NJ) product visited Palo Alto a couple of weeks ago. Coach Peter Hansen, the linebackers coach, is the area recruiter for Wade-Perry, so Hansen is who Wade-Perry communicates with a lot. With former DL coach Randy Hart retiring and new coach Diron Reynolds just settling down, he hasn’t really talked to Reynolds too much. He talked to Rivals Andy Druvrev about his Stanford visit: "’Academically, athletically obviously if you put the work in and the time you'll be able to make it to where you want to be athletically. But academically there is so much support and so many minds working together than you can get the job done and overall have a good future.’"

Wade-Perry also cut his list down to his top eight schools this week. Stanford was included along with Ohio State, Rutgers, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida, and UCLA. The 247sport Crystal Ball has Wade-Perry a heavy lean to Stanford, I also have picked Stanford to land the New Jersey DT.

He has more than 25 scholarship offers from many of the best teams in the NCAA such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Oregon. He said no schools jump out right away.
"(Recruiting) just started to pick up again," Jones said. "It's really the same, but more (schools) are starting to come in. I haven't set up any recruiting visits yet. (This summer) will probably consist of a lot more visits than what it was going to."

Union (N.J.) High defensive end Mike Tverdov is being recruited hardest by a Big Ten and an ACC school, but others are showing plenty of interest.

Mike Tverdov, the top defensive end in New Jersey, spent Saturday at Rutgers, one of the schools recruitng him the hardest.
Boston College is also showing the 6-foot-3 1/2, 231-pound Union (N.J.) High star plenty of interest, Virginia Tech remains in consistent contact and Nebraska and Michigan State are talking about offering.

One of the top players on the Michigan State recruiting board for the class of 2017 is Orchard Lake St. Mary's wide receiver Kahlee Hamler. The 5-foot-9, 155-pound prospect was offered by MSU nearly two years ago after he had an impressive performance at camp. Since that time, a host of other BCS teams have jumped on board and extended him a scholarship including Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Wisconsin.

Rivals.com recently elevated Hamler to four stars after he was voted the MVP at the Rivals Camp Series. Hamler was also invited to attend The Opening in July.

Hamler has starred for the Eaglets on both the football field and the track. On Wednesday, he announced on Twitter that he would be attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., for his senior year. IMG Academy has been known as one of the top sports training schools in the nation and recently they began to focus on football. In just a few shorts years, they have become arguably the No. 1 talent producing football school in the nation.

Michigan State already has three verbal commitments from Ohio in the 2017 recruiting class and wants to add another in 6-foot-5 Jaylen Harris, the state's top-ranked receiver. With Ohio State's Urban Meyer and Michigan's Jim Harbaugh spending Wednesday in New Jersey, Mark Dantonio swooped into Ohio to make a pitch.

"He's trying to get me to come down as soon as possible," said Harris, who is rated four stars by 247Sports.com and has offers from all of the mentioned schools. "I appreciated him coming out."

Hamler announced via Twitter this week that he will transfer from Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's to Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. A four-star prospect according to 247Sports' composite rankings, Hamler talked about his transfer and updated his recruitment with Isaiah Hole of 247Sports.

"I plan to check out Arizona and Oregon," Hamler told 247Sports. "Michigan State and Michigan, I still love them to death. I want to see Penn State again. I want to get out and see what Cal, USC and UCLA are about too."

Trieu: Future Spartan White improving, recruiting

Many prospects with Spartan offers were in Detroit with current Spartan players who are alumni of the camp – Malik McDowell, Messiah DeWeaver, Donnie Corley, Dennis Finley, Jamal Lyles and others – also stopping in during the day.

Current Spartan commit Cody White, a wide receiver from Walled Lake Western, was one of the top performers at wide receiver. Committed players do not always have much motivation to attend camps like this one, but White says his relatively early commitment has allowed him to focus on improvement, and this camp was ideal for that.

“(I came) just to compete and have fun,” White says, “working on getting better, working on craft and improving.”

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy receiver KJ Hamler continues to show that in a camp setting there aren’t many players better than him.

Hamler just dominates the non-padded events. He’s a step quicker than just about everyone on the field, he uses that 4.4 speed to separate, he is a smooth route runner with very reliable hands. His releases off the line of scrimmage are second to none. If a defender can’t touch him at the line of scrimmage they typically have no chance.
