It's not playing the same exact course when equal shots are treated 8 different ways on the same damn green. One poster suggested guys land the ball on an area the size of a dinner plate from 200 yards out where you can't even see the fucking green if they want a better putting line.

Not to mention chambers bay was an awful venue for spectators. The only reason it would ever go back there is because the USGA practically built that course themselves.

There's no way this gimmick course identified the best player. If it did the same guy would have won the US open as won the masters which is a very traditional layout.
