Pineapple Express is a great movie. Danny McBride is always great, but for some reason, when he's riffing off James Franco, he's at his best. See This Is The End for more examples.

The comedy is good, but there are too many long lags in between the great stuff. There was like 5 total minutes I wasn't laughing the first time I saw Pineapple Express.

I mean, if you want to go joke for joke? Maybe. But as a film, I go with P.E. for entertainment value. And I am a huuuuge Chappelle fan. Miss that motherfucker.
