Michigan State helmet bumpers changed

That really a change on the normal helmet or just angle/lighting?

Who doesn't love a good helmet bumper?

The letters are really pushed together in the new helmet bumpers, but I do like the green over the white. Either way, this probably costs the team a loss somewhere.

I'd rather they just go back to the B1G logo. The high-school font in front of the goofy shield just is a stupid look, IMO.

The shield always makes me think of the lame "Raise Your Shield" sportsmanship campaign that MSU came up with.

It does the same thing for me. I hate the shield. It's cheesy.

Now, if they had a bumper that read "State" like in the Perles era...I could definitely get behind that.

The shield is extra weird to me because MSU doesn't even list it with their new CLC logo sheet or the color bronze, either.

I think that raise your shield and see something say something came with the tailgate restrictions.

If I'm remembering right, they tried to do another survey like that but threw out the second survey's results because people were answering the questions more honestly than the selected group they had prior.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I like the shield. In fact, I wish the team replaced the spear sticker on the helmet with the shield that has the upside-down V. IMO, it looks badass. The spear is weak-tits and can't even be seen very well.

Weird that Gruff Sparty isn't in there.

I don't like the spear, but I kind of like the S because it's a good way to use the S without giving it prominence. But I see your point. The helmets look better without the stickers.
