yeah... I did that to liberate data from proboards to phpBB3... It was a lot of work. Python screen scrapes.

We won't ever be going full nude here, but we are exploring migration options for a number of reasons. If anything does happen, I can promise you all it'll go better than a 247 "upgrade"

I think no matter where we end up, the Forumotion terms of service are pretty close to what we'd adopt. Personally, I have not interest in being involved in an forum that is basically a Pr0n site either. Why do we need that here?

This is my list:

No pr0n / full nudity
No blatant racism
No disclosing personal information
No personal attacks on Trevor and family

Some things possibly TBD via vote:

Personal attacks on players and their families
Personal attacks on recruits and their families


Other than that, I personally don't have any other "rules" that I think would add anything to the board.

You just need to define "personal attacks" if you go that route because negative commentary is not usually a personal attack... the other place disagrees.

Personal attacks are always going to be a moderator decision, but I don't think our policy of "when in doubt, leave it be" will change. We're going to have to work through any of these gray area issues together.

I find the first set of examples to be more personal attacks than the second set of examples. I just always thought that wishing death on someone was so outrageous and vague that it isn't that personal at all. Attacking someone's intelligence always seemed more personal. Not sure what that says about me though.
