It wasn't that bad. I've read worse. Based on what I read, I wouldn't file charges.

God, I hate the "blame the victim" mentality these things arouse, but that's going to be hard to prosecute. the redacted name at the beginning is her friend referred to earlier in the report, I think.

In addition, the recorded phone calls between the victim and two of the accused are not cut and dry.  I mean, both say they're sorry, and one of them even says he believes he did something wrong, but neither of them say much more than that.

That's a tough one, and hard to read.

One of the guys had to sit out this past season after transferring from Providence. He was kicked out after being accused of sexual assault there.

Lane County District Attorney Alex Gardner released a statement Tuesday afternoon detailing why his office decided not to charge Oregon basketball players Damyean Dotson, Dominic Artis, and Brandon Austin after an investigation into an alleged rape on the night of March 8.

Gardner's statement begins by clarifying that the District Attorney's office "no-filed" charges against the players, writing that "a no file decision is not a statement about who we believe or don’t believe. It is simply an analysis of the available evidence and its sufficiency to meet the State’s burden of proof."

The statement goes on review the allegations and timelines of what was covered in the police report
